Cafe Review: NOC Coffee Co. (Sai Ying Pun)

Forbidden Cafe Review-NOC

NOC Coffee Co’s white themed cafe & roastery is set to be a favourite for cool kids

Since I am now living in Hong Kong Island, I have more time (or excuses) to visit coffee shops around here. As you all know, there are a lot of high quality cafes on this side of Hong Kong, this week I visited NOC Coffee Co in Sai Ying Pun (and to write a cafe review!).

Cafe Review: NOC Coffee Co.

I had been to the first and tiny branch of NOC in Central few time before. Therefore, I had no idea what to expect for this one close to where I live. But it WOW me at the first sight.

This is the third and largest branch of NOC Coffee Co. With the roastery included in the shop, it looks very spacious and airy. I especially love the floor-to-celling windows of the shop which is rare to have in this world’s highest rent city.

The whole outlook of the shop is stunning. The main colour tone is white and grey, which aligns the designs from interior to products. Plus, the coffee bar is very tidy and clean (important in the eyes of barista trainer).

What I Ordered?

The coffee menu is simple (simplicity always works better). We ordered a Single origin pour over (on Kenya) and a latte on their house blend.

The Kenyan was fruity and sweet, which matches the tasting notes. But I hope to get one next time with a slightly higher extraction.

The latte was pretty well done. Nice latte art, creamy, and with the right espresso-and-milk ratio.

We went there after lunchtime. That’s why we did not order any food item but I see they have options for vegan and delicate desserts. Will try for sure on my next visit!

What you’d come back for?

Simply the nice shop design, the bright environment and good coffee will lure you to take your laptop and stay for another half day here!

Address: 321 Des Voeux Rd W, Sai Ying Pun

I hope you like this cafe review and see you next week! Happy caffeinated.
